PhxBUG -- User Group Meeting Discussion and Presentation Topics

We are hoping to narrow down a list of presentation topics that could be given during PhxBUG meetings. A few of the ideas are listed below. We want to find things that are both interesting to most people, and on a level of proficiency that won't be too advanced for beginning users or enthusiasts. The topics should also be something to keep more experienced sysadmins from falling asleep.

The list is by no means exhaustive, so if you have ideas for a topic that you'd like to see coverage on, let us know. Better yet, if you've got ideas for presentation topics that you'd like to cover, let us know so we can get it added to the list.

Please place your vote for what topic you'd like to see most in a PhxBUG presentation by taking the poll.

Evening Meeting(s)_Tuesdays

Regards-

Are Tuesdays evening meetings the axiom, consensus, default or is the backend (Wed/Thur/Fri) a consideration? Tue6pm->Wed6am is a no option work night.

Greatful for consdieration in this regard-

Nothing is set in stone. I

Nothing is set in stone. I picked 1st Tuesday of the month to avoid conflicts with other user group meetings that may have some member overlap.

I'd like to get consensus on meeting times, and it's about time. There are enough variables that it won't map easily onto a simple poll. Are you on the mailing list? I'd like to take this discussion there. There are more people on the mailing list than visit the web page regularly, and I think it's a better forum for this.
